Thank you to everyone who came to Pink Slip's annual Spring Fashion Show this past Sunday! It was bigger and better than we could have ever imagined! The models were beautiful, the live band, The Beatle Brothers, sounded just like Paul, John, Ringo and George and the incredible set made everyone feel like they were at a fashion show on Abbey Road! Our hair stylist-to-be decided to combine some of the most useful knowledge she has retained in cosmetology school (she has recently mastered the bun) and high school (her floral design class) to create the perfect hairstyle! Olive Skin

If you’re an olive, chances are your skin has that year-round glow! Pick something that is rich but bright. Turquoise, fuchsia, and aqua would be great options for your picture-perfect dress. Keep your mind open to adding bright accents in your hair or with your accessories.
Fair Skin

Light skin always tends to look its best when it’s paired with deep and clear colors. Mix it up by trying a navy blue, black, or even a red! Check out how great the contrast will appear with your complexion. Avoid colors that will blend into your skin tone such as light pink, tan, and gold.
Dark Skin

As our Pink Elves were walking into the boutique (with coffees in hand) gearing up for the switch from their late night/early morning Black Friday shopping sprees to Pink Friday dresses they noticed they weren't the only ones. It's time for us to update you on some changes at Pink Slip!

1. Pink Slip's Fall and Winter hours are as follows:

Tuesday through Friday 12pm to 8pm

Saturday and Sunday 11am to 5pm

2. Pink Slip will only hold your items until the end of the day!

Sometimes we get bogged down with so many dress holds that our hold bars look like they're going to fall off our pretty little walls! So, to fix this problem, we can only offer holds until the end of the day you place your item on hold.

3. We are CONSTANTLY receiving new merchandise! Everyday we're getting something new so make sure you keep checking in!

4. The PINK SLIP BOUTIQUE BIRTHDAY PARTY is right around the corner!

If you are looking to wear a custom dress or a one-of-a-kind design to homecoming this year, we suggest you attend the show to reserve your dress! Interview Time Is Coming Up!!

We all know the saying... "TIME FLIES WHEN YOU'RE HAVING FUN!" And let me tell you, we've been having a TON of fun here at Pink Slip! That's why we can't believe that interview sign-ups are already being held this week and the actual interviews will be taking place over the weekend on the 26th and 27th! However, we know that more fun is always possible, especially here at Pink Slip! And one way we're looking to add to the good times we've been having here lately is to hire new fun, interesting, outgoing and personable girls to join our team and work at Pink Slip. If you're interested in a job, make sure that you come in and see us any time before Friday at 5:00 to schedule your interview that will take place at some point over the weekend. We are looking forward to expanding our staff and making some new friends along the way! It's our hope that some of you will want to join our big, happy, PINK SLIP FAMILY!
